How I feel #1

Yesterday, in school, while waiting for mum. I chatted with my Indian friend, Santea. We talked about that the reasons why many Indians & Chinese didn't learn their mother tongue. When I was small, I blamed my parents, I wondered why did they send me to a Chinese school? Why don't they just send to me to either a Malay or an international school? Then I don't have to learn Chinese anymore. I though that as long as I am able to speak it.

Coming to high school, I took Account Principal instead of Chinese. After considering & listening to advice from Dad & teachers, I decided to take Chinese.

The fact is most of the candidates of SPM drop Chinese in order to score straight A+, they worried that Chinese will cause them enable to get JPA scholarship. But it's such a waste to give up your root that you learn for over 10 years. We learnt Chinese from zero. I still remembered that my mum, my kindergarden teacher & my youngest aunt held my hand to learn the Chinese writing. 


我们一笔一画的学，但是到了最后才放弃，不觉得可惜吗？
